Can I use a Privacy.com card with Split Pay?

No — Split Pay no longer works with Privacy.com cards. If you have one saved with Split Pay, payments charged to it won't go through, so replace it with a Visa or Mastercard debit card before your next payment.

To switch cards: log into your Split Pay account, open your plan, select a different card under Payment Method (or tap Add new card), and tap Confirm. Adding a card by itself doesn't switch your payment — confirming it inside your plan does. Step-by-step: Can I change the payment method for my Split Pay payment?

If a payment already failed on a Privacy.com card: switch the card first, then retry before your deadline. See My portal payment failed. How do I retry? or My direct payment to my landlord failed and I have funds now. What do I do?

Don't have a Visa or Mastercard debit card? Check with your bank first — nearly every checking account comes with one, and many banks give you a virtual card number in their app you can use right away. If you look at a third-party virtual card instead, make sure it's a true debit card tied to your checking account — not a prepaid or credit card. Note: Split Pay can't help with Privacy.com account questions — for anything on their side, contact Privacy.com directly.
