Go to your account page in the Split Pay app or website and tap "Delete my account." Deletion takes effect immediately once you confirm.
When you delete:
All scheduled autopayments cancel
Your saved payment methods are removed
Your Split Pay eligibility is removed
You can't delete your account if you have a payment in progress or a payment that's overdue — you'll need to wait until those clear first.
If you want to come back later, sign up again with the same email and your transaction history will restore. You'll need to redo identity verification, reconnect a payment method, and reapply for Split Pay.
⚠️ Important — read before deleting: If you pay your rent, mortgage, or car loan through a portal, lender, or servicer using your Split Pay account and routing numbers, there's an extra step first: remove Split Pay as the saved payment method there, so a closed account doesn't keep getting charged (which can cause failed payments or late fees on their end). The steps are in I'm moving and pay through a portal, lender, or mortgage servicer — what do I do?.
