Three steps in the Split Pay app:
Open the app and go to Settings
Select Credit Reporting
Toggle it on and agree to the terms
That's it. Reporting starts with your next payment cycle.
To also report your past Split Pay payments retroactively (so you get credit for the on-time rent you've already paid):
Make sure your full address or building name is in your account profile
That's a requirement for retroactive reporting
If your address is on file when you opt in, we'll automatically report your previous successful Split Pay payments — usually within 1–2 billing cycles.
Worth knowing:
Credit reporting is free
Only successful payments get reported — late or missed ones never do
You can turn it off anytime (see the FAQ on How do I turn off credit reporting?)
If you can't find the setting or hit an error, contact our Support team.
