Once a portal payment has started processing, no — we can't cancel or reverse it. The moment your portal, lender, or servicer requests payment from us, we charge your card and send the money. We can't pull it back from our side.
Your options if you need to undo it:
If you haven't been charged yet: the only way to stop a payment from being requested is on your portal, lender, or servicer's end. Log into your portal, lender, or servicer and try to cancel or modify the scheduled payment there. We don't control when they pull payment, so we can't intervene from our side.
If you've been charged but the payment hasn't reached your landlord, lender, or servicer yet: still can't cancel. The payment is moving through the banking network.
If the payment has reached your landlord, lender, or servicer: you'd need to ask them to return the funds. Once they return it to us, we'll automatically refund it to your card — 3–5 business days. See My landlord is asking about returning or refunding a payment — what happens?.
If you want to avoid this situation going forward, you can cancel autopay in your portal, lender, or servicer so payments stop being automatically requested.
