I signed up with Apple — what email is on my account?

When you sign up with Apple, Apple may create a private relay email for your account instead of using your real email. It looks like a random string of letters and numbers, like 2dgjmgh6hx@privaterelay.appleid.com.

This is an Apple privacy feature. Any email we send to that address gets automatically forwarded to your real email — so you still receive everything from us — but the address itself is what's on file in our system.

To find your relay email:

Option 1 — Easiest, if you can still log in:

  1. Open the Split Pay app and sign in with Apple

  2. Go to your account settings

  3. Your email on file shows there

Option 2 — From your Apple ID:

  1. Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in

  2. Select Sign-In and Security

  3. Choose Sign in with Apple

  4. Find Split Pay in your app list

  5. Under "Hide My Email," you'll see your Apple Relay Email for Split Pay

Save that relay email somewhere safe — you'll need it any time you contact support or need to recover your account.

If you can't find it either way, get in touch with us and we'll help you locate your account.
