Most of the time, this is a quick fix. Try these steps in order:
From the phone you use for Split Pay, text the word START (in all caps) to 57439. This activates the messaging connection between Split Pay and your phone.
Save 57439 as a contact in your phone — name it "Split Pay" or anything you'll recognize. This stops your carrier from filtering our codes as spam.
Try logging in again. The code should arrive within 30 seconds to a few minutes.
If you still don't see it, check:
Your SMS spam or filtered messages folder
That your phone has signal and isn't on Do Not Disturb
That you're not getting blocked from receiving texts in general (try sending yourself a test from another phone)
That the phone number on your Split Pay account is your current number
Seeing "Resend in 60s"? That's a security cooldown after multiple code requests. Wait the full 60 seconds before trying again, and use that time to check your spam folder and signal. The code should arrive within 30 seconds once it's sent.
