Contact support and we'll help you update it. Because we can't text a code to your old number to verify it's you, we'll go through identity verification instead — usually a quick selfie ID check sent to the email on your account.
What to expect:
Contact support and let us know your old number is no longer accessible
We'll send a selfie identity verification link to the email on your Split Pay account
Complete the verification (it takes a couple of minutes)
Our team reviews the verification — usually within 1 business day
Once approved, your phone number is updated and you'll be logged out of Split Pay
Log back in using the same sign-in method you originally signed up with (Google, Apple, or email and password). You'll receive your login code on your new phone number.
A couple of important things to know:
You can't switch your sign-in method during this process. If you signed up with Google, you'll still use Google after the update.
If you don't see the verification email, check your spam folder. Apple users: your account email may be a private relay address that looks like
xxxxx@privaterelay.appleid.com— that's where the email goes.
