In most cases, you don’t need to — and soon you won’t log in with an email at all, so changing it won’t matter day to day.

Our advice: keep your account exactly as it is. The account tied to your current email is your primary Split Pay account, with your eligibility, payment account numbers, and history on it.

The two exceptions: if you’ve completely lost access to that email, or you believe it’s been compromised, those cases need a secure update on our end. For anything else, leave it be — you lose nothing by keeping it.
