1–2 business days once your document is uploaded.
Worth noting:
Business days only — weekends and holidays don't count
The clock starts when we successfully receive your upload, not when you start
You'll get an email when the review is complete with the outcome
Three possible outcomes:
Approved. Your payment moves forward and processes on schedule. No action needed from you.
More info requested. Our compliance team needs something specific — usually a payment amount explanation or a clearer document. You'll get an email with exactly what's needed.
Rejected. The document didn't meet verification requirements. See the FAQ on What if my lease, mortgage statement, or auto loan documentation gets rejected?.
While you wait:
You don't need to do anything — we'll reach out when the review is done
Re-contacting us during the review can actually slow things down (it shuffles the queue)
The hold on your payment stays in place during the review
If your scheduled payment date passes during the review:
Direct payments: the payment will process on the next available date once approved
Portal payments with a same-day hold: see I have a payment due today and my account is on hold — what do I do? (tighter timelines apply)
If it's been more than 2 business days and you haven't heard back, contact our Support team and we'll check the status.
