I referred a friend but didn't get my reward — what happened?

The reward triggers when your friend's first Split Pay payment fully settles — which means a few things need to happen in order. Let's walk through the checklist:

They signed up through your unique referral link at refer.splitpay.com, not by going directly to splitpay.com

Friend is new to Split Pay

They didn't already have a Split Pay account before signing up

Friend scheduled their first payment

They completed their application and scheduled their first Split Pay payment

Friend's first payment has settled

The payment fully settled — not just initiated or processing. Settlement takes 3–5 business days.

If any step isn't done yet: the reward hasn't been triggered yet. It'll fire automatically once everything's complete.

If all four steps are confirmed and you still don't see your reward: contact our Support team. Have your friend's name or email handy if possible, and let us know roughly when their first payment settled. We'll look into it.
