Split Pay has partnered with Privacy to help users only with Discover cards still use our service. Discover is no longer supported on Split Pay — you'll need a Visa or Mastercard debit card to use the service.
Heads up on timing: Setting up a new Privacy.com account can take up to 3 business days. Make sure to complete this step well in advance of your payment due date.
What to do:
If you have another debit card: add it under Account → Change Debit in the app or web app
If you only have Discover: sign up through our dedicated Privacy partnership link — it's free and creates a virtual Visa or Mastercard linked to your existing checking account. Once you have the card number, add it to Split Pay and you're good.
If you're a Direct Renter: your autopay was cancelled when Discover was disconnected. You'll need to reschedule it with the new card.
If you pay through a portal: your payment schedule went on hold. Once you connect a new card, it'll restart automatically.
