On your due date, no — we'll automatically choose between your debit card and bank account to keep your payments running smoothly, picking whichever is most likely to go through.
But if you pay before your due date, you can choose any method on file. To pay early:
Tap "Manage Your Payment" in your reminder email, or open the Split Pay app
Choose Pay Now
Pick the card or bank account you want, and complete the payment
Paying even a day early gives you control over which method is used for that payment.
One important thing: choosing a method on the Pay Now screen only applies to the payment you make right then. It does not change what your automatic payments use going forward. To set the method for your future automatic payments, update your default payment method at splitpay.com/account.
If there's a method you never want us to use, you can remove it in your account settings — once it's removed, it can't be selected.
