Split Pay works like any other bank account from the perspective of whoever you pay — a landlord, property manager, mortgage servicer, or lender. They don't need to approve, verify, or partner with Split Pay before you can use it — and we don't issue formal verification letters because there's nothing to verify.
What's actually happening from their side:
When you connect your Split Pay account and routing numbers to your portal, whoever you pay receives your full payment on time — your rent, mortgage, or car payment, every month. The payment shows up as coming from Evolve Bank & Trust (our banking partner). That's the only difference compared to a payment from your personal bank account.
What to tell them:
Split Pay is your payment method choice — like choosing which personal bank account to pay from
They receive the full amount on time, same as always
Split Pay isn't a partnership or third party they need to verify — it's just how you're paying
They have no more visibility into Split Pay than they would into any other bank account
If they want to learn more about Split Pay:
If you pay rent, send your landlord or property manager to pmc.splitpay.com — that page explains how Split Pay works for property managers, and they can book time with our team there if they want to talk to us directly.
If they continue to block you after seeing the resources:
Contact our Support team. We can help document what's happening — sometimes the company you pay has specific concerns we can address directly. We don't want to create friction in your relationship with whoever you pay.
