I removed and re-added my virtual account — did I lose my original?

No — your Split Pay account and routing numbers stay the same when you remove and re-add them.

Think of your account and routing numbers like a physical payment method — a credit card, a debit card. The numbers are tied to you. If you remove the card from one place and add it to another, it's the same card. Same numbers, same setup. Removing it from your portal doesn't destroy or regenerate the underlying numbers — it just unsaves them on that one portal's side.

Your Split Pay account and routing numbers stay the same:

  • ✅ When you remove and re-add them in your portal, lender, or servicer

  • ✅ When you move to a new property

  • ✅ When you use them in a different portal

  • ✅ When you delete your Split Pay account and re-sign up with the same email

Practical scenarios:

Scenario 1: You removed them from your portal accidentally.
Just re-add them. Same numbers. Same setup. Your portal will work as it did before.

Scenario 2: You're switching properties (moving out).
Use the same Split Pay account and routing numbers at your new portal. They stay tied to you across properties.

Scenario 3: You wanted to "reset" your virtual account.
You can't reset or regenerate them. The numbers are fixed for the life of your Split Pay account.

Scenario 4: You deleted your Split Pay account and re-signed up with the same email.
You'll keep the same account and routing numbers as before. The numbers are preserved on re-signup with the same email.

Where to find your account and routing numbers:

  1. Log into your Split Pay account

  2. Go to Account → Virtual Account (or similar — exact path may vary)

  3. Tap to view your account and routing numbers

  4. Copy them into your portal, lender, or servicer as a bank account payment method
