I only have a temporary ID — can I still use Split Pay?

Not on a temporary ID alone. Split Pay only accepts these three forms of ID:

  • US passport

  • Driver's license (not a temporary or paper one)

  • State-issued ID (not a temporary version)

If you have a temporary ID right now (e.g., you renewed and you're waiting for the permanent one to arrive in the mail), get in touch with us. Our compliance department can look at your specific situation and let you know if there are any options while you wait for the permanent version.

While you wait, your options:

  • Wait for your permanent ID to arrive, then complete verification

  • Use a different form of accepted ID if you have one (e.g., your passport if your driver's license is temporary)

  • For this month's rent payment, you'll likely need to pay your landlord directly using another method (bank bill pay, Zelle, money order, etc.)
