Even when your account is set up as a business for tax purposes, ID verification uses your personal ID. That's a compliance requirement — verifying who's actually operating the account.

The business entity only affects what shows up on your tax forms. Your 1099-K gets issued to the business; the ID check that proves you're authorized to use Split Pay is about you as a person. Two different systems doing different jobs.
