A bunch of my tenants are getting denied. What's going on?

If multiple tenants are running into approval issues, the most common explanation is the same one that affects most individual cases: tenants linking a bank account they only use for paying bills, instead of the account where their income gets deposited. Fixing that single thing unblocks a lot of these.

What you can do:

Share the income-account tip with your tenants proactively. Before they apply, let them know they should connect the bank account where their paycheck lands — not a separate bill-pay account. A short message in your standard rental communications goes a long way.

When tenants are denied, they get all the specific guidance they need directly from us — both in the app and in the email — including any factors that apply to their case. So they have what they need to try again.
