My payout hasn't arrived. What should I check?

Most payouts arrive within a few business days, and 5 business days is the max. Give it through the end of day 5 before assuming something's wrong — some banks post incoming transfers later in the day.

How payouts reach you

We send your payout by ACH bank transfer to the account on file. Like any ACH transfer, it can take up to 5 business days to land, depending on your bank. The window starts when your tenant's payment processes on our side — not the moment they hit "pay."

The timing you both saw at setup

When your tenant set up rent, both you and your tenant were shown when the payment would be sent and the window for it to arrive. That estimate already builds in time for the payment to process and for the ACH transfer to complete — so in most cases, what you're seeing is the expected timeline, not a problem.

If you need funds by a specific date (like the 1st)

Because of ACH timing, a payment that starts on the due date won't arrive that same day. If you need rent in hand by the 1st, the easiest fix is on your tenant's side: encourage them to schedule autopay to start several business days earlier, so the payment has time to process and transfer before your deadline. Budgeting for the full 5-business-day window is the safest bet.

If it's been more than 5 business days

If you're past end of day 5 and still haven't seen it, get in touch with us right away. Anything past the 5-day window is unusual and we'll investigate it directly. Have ready:

  • Your tenant's name

  • The date they paid

We'll trace the payment from our side — and we can provide the ACH details for the payout so you or your bank can locate the deposit on your end.
