Can I request a rent payment from my tenant through Split Pay?

Right now, no — landlords can't send rent requests to tenants through Split Pay. Only the other direction works: your tenant sends you a payment request to accept.

When your tenant chooses to pay you with Split Pay, they'll send you a payment request from their app. You'll get an email with a link to accept it. Once you accept (and create a Split Pay landlord account if you don't have one yet), the rent gets sent straight to your bank account every month they pay through Split Pay — no chasing, no invoicing.

If your tenant hasn't sent a request yet, ask them to start the process from their end.

We may build landlord-initiated payment requests in the future, but they're not on the roadmap right now.
