Can I send rent in full through Split Pay if I don't want to split it?

No. As of May 2026, Split Pay only does split payments — there's no longer an option to send rent in full through us.

This is a change from how the Rent App platform worked previously. The full-payment option (Rent App's original "pay rent in full" feature) was fully sunset by June 8, 2026.

What this means:

  • Every payment through Split Pay is split into two parts (first payment + second payment 14 days later)

  • If you only want to send a single full payment, you'd need to use a different method

Alternative ways to pay rent in full without Split Pay:

  • Your bank's bill pay

  • Zelle (if your landlord accepts it)

  • A wire transfer

  • Whatever direct method your landlord prefers

  • Your landlord's portal directly (using your bank account, not Split Pay)

If your landlord uses Baselane, you can connect there directly without Split Pay — get.baselane.com/partnerships/splitpay.

If you don't qualify for Split Pay (denied or eligibility expired) and need to make a rent payment, the above are your options. Contact our Support team if you want to talk through what makes sense for your situation.
