Why am I getting daily reminders about my balance?

If you have an upcoming or overdue Split Pay balance, we send automated reminders every day — by text or email — until you take action. We also send reminders before your due date as it approaches.

What's in every reminder:

Each one includes a link that lets you:

  • Pay now — settle your balance in one tap

  • Change your payment date (in some cases, depending on timing)

  • Talk to our Support team to explore other options

The reminder isn't just a nudge — it's the fastest way to act.

Until you take action, we also attempt to pull your payment every day. This is part of how Split Pay works — daily attempts run until your balance is resolved.

The only ways to stop the reminders and the daily payment attempts:

  • Pay your balance — everything stops immediately

  • Commit to a new date for your payment (within the available window) — reminders pause until that date

  • Get on a path to catch up — once you've worked out an arrangement with us to resolve the balance, the reminders stop

The reminders don't stop just because you ask, or block our number, or ignore them. They're automatic and tied directly to your balance status. Committing to one of the paths above is the only way to make them stop.

If you can't commit to anything yet but the reminders are stressing you out, contact our Support team anyway — the virtual assistant can walk through what's possible and a human can join if it gets complicated.
